Easy to Find. Hard to Forget.

The Big Horn Motel is located in Buffalo, Wyoming’s historic downtown district, right along the scenic Highway 16 corridor between two of the West’s most iconic destinations – Rushmore and Yellowstone. Whether you’re traveling between Mount Rushmore National Memorial and Yellowstone National Park, or simply exploring the beauty of northern Wyoming, Buffalo makes a natural and welcoming stop along the way. Our location offers both convenience and a sense of place you won’t get from a highway exit alone with close proximity to the Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum and Bighorn Mountains.

Right Where You Need to Be

Staying downtown means you’re within walking distance of local restaurants, shops, and Buffalo’s historic charm, while still having quick access to the open road when it’s time to continue your journey.
