Good to Know Before You Arrive

We want your stay at The Big Horn Motel to be smooth, comfortable, and easy from start to finish. Below you’ll find important details about your reservation, along with answers to common questions to help you plan ahead.

Booking & Cancellation

  • All rate schedules are subject to 12% lodging tax, plus a 3% credit card processing fee.
  • A credit card is required as guarantee at time of booking.
  • As a small business, cancellations affect us greatly. We uphold a 72-hour cancellation rule (not applicable to pre-paid/non-refundable reservations) and all reservations are non-transferable. Please arrange to make cancellation by 3:00pm MST three days prior to arrival to avoid payment of one night’s room & tax. Guests are asked to retain their motel issue cancellation number. Cancellations on reservation modifications within the 3-day cancellation rule are subject to first night’s room & tax.
  • Please note, there may be stricter cancellation rules related to group rates, special promotions, or special events.
  • No-shows are responsible for the full reservation amount.
  • We do not refund for early departures.
  • Best available rates are based on single or double occupancy. For those rooms that can accommodate more than two guests, rates will include an additional $10 per person, per night charge. Children under 18 are free with an accompanied adult and use of existing bedding.

Property Details

  • Check-in time is between 3:00pm – 10:00pm MST. If you would like to check in later than 10:00pm, please let us know in advance. We will be happy to provide you with special late check-in instructions.
  • Check-out time is 10:00am. Any later checkout should be arranged in advance and is subject to availability.
  • All guest rooms are smoke free. Smoking is permitted only outside and with other guests in mind.
  • In an effort to keep it green and not disturb your stay, housekeeping service is available on an opt-in basis. If you wish to receive housekeeping service for stays of 2 nights or more, please notify us upon arrival.
  • The burning of candles or incense in the guest rooms or public areas is not allowed due to insurance regulations.
  • Guests are responsible for any damage to the property during their stay. This includes, but is not limited to, permanently stained linens (due to hair dye, red wine, self-tanning lotions, etc.), damaged furnishings and excessive wear beyond normal use. Charges will be assessed based on the cost of repair or replacement and will be applied to the credit card on file.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I check in early? Early check-in may be available. Please contact us in advance and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Do you allow pets? Yes, we offer a limited number of pet-friendly rooms for dogs. Advance notice is required to secure availability. Undeclared pets will incur a fee in addition to the nightly pet charge.

Is there parking available? Yes, parking is complimentary. We also offer space for larger vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and RVs in a designated area for overnight parking.

Are there smoking rooms available? No, all guest rooms are non-smoking. Outdoor smoking areas are available.

What if I arrive after 10:00 PM? No problem. Just let us know in advance and we’ll provide late check-in instructions so your arrival is seamless.
